Again with the negative criticism

unquestioned

So I got alot of hits from stumbleupon on my bone picker comic & it doesnt seem to be too well liked. One of the comments given was 'art stolen from Cyanide and Happiness. Joke stolen from Spongebob. early episode F.U.N. in the song he says "nose picking" and they are in a store picking out noses. fail.'

Now wtf? Havent I already explained in another strip that I don't copy cyanide & happiness, just because a comic becomes hugely popular it does not mean that the drawing style they use, which is very basic & widely used by many comics & artists is stolen from them. I have drawn like that for years way before & discovered C&H. Also spongebob? How the hell? I was atleast 20 when spongebob appeared & I have seen 1 or 2 episodes & the movie & how the hell do you get that I stole an idea from 'nose picker'? If you are going to criticise think how fucking stupid you look first before it & see if it is justified otherwise shut the hell up because it makes me want to stop drawing when all I get is negativity.

I LOVE YOU

I like that Bone Picker comic, I think it's a riot. That is an extremely common drawing style; saying you copied C&H is like saying I copied xkcd when I draw stick figures.

You're Worth It

You shouldn't get discouraged by the internet...negative criticism naturally floats to the top, but the true love isn't very deep beneath that. Just call out whenever you're feeling internet-icidal and we'll come tell you how wonderful and funny you are!! :-D

F*ck 'em

Getting defensive is what your critics want. Just keep doing what you're doing and take that stuff in stride. Rock on.
